Start at 2-1/2 come 2-3/4 turns out together a beginning point. Then start the engine and also see exactly how it runs. Revolve out the screw an ext if engine operation cleanly at idle rpm. Keep transforming out gradually until idling i do not care erratic. Then rotate needle earlier in 1/4 to 1/2 turn.If idling is erratic from beginning point, rotate in needle slowly until idling smooths out.

I don"t have my Griz finished yet yet on some of my various other rigs with this exact same setup ns made a special tool for it. I took a 6 coin nail, flattened the finish out with a hammer, filed the finish square then bent that finish 90 degrees about 3/8 that an inch long. Great tool for your tool kit.
I simply use a flathead screw bit it’s little enough to get under over there you don’t need to make a special device if her out and also about
