Hello again. After more googling, it looks favor the Intake waiting Temperature sensor/IAT (G42) may be combined with the MAF sensor. Might anyone be able to confirm? Follow-on question: If after additional troubleshooting I need to gain a MAF, what is the best resource recommended? Cost, value, reliability? many thanks again everyone.Chris

There might be two IAT sensors ~ above this engine. The MAF might sense incoming air in addition to the IAT sensor the is after the intercooler, sensing the temperature the the wait going right into the engine. I doubt that the last is your problem. Friend should uncover it located in between the intake manifold and the waiting outlet of the intercooler.

Hello -- followup. I purchased a VCDS and confirmed the po113 code. Working with Ross - Tech, castle guided me a bit toward the MAP sensor which in reality fulfills two roles apparently: manifold abs. Pressure and intake waiting temperature. Ns ohmed out the pins top top the initial sensor and also found the end that the #2 pen was open to all other pins. So, notified the part and mounted this evening. Runs like a champ again. The component ran me ~$35 and the VCDS to be $200. I think I"m probably also on a trip to mine dealer come have gained this fixed. Nice to have actually the VCDS and also the aid from Ross tech was an excellent -- Recommended. Many thanks again all, for her thoughts and help!Chris

Yes, HEX-V2 cable. The "enthusiast" version now for sale at Ross Tech. It allows one come register approximately 3 VINS. I did not have to register mine VIN to do the scans. Permit me understand if you require any more info.
